Pitch
The pitch for this effect is a projectile move from a character who is capable of controlling weather like storm from X-Men. My main theme is transition / transformation, with the effect starting off as condensation which transforms to rain, and eventually ice which melts and evaporates away. The attacker summons a cloud which begins to rain through which she throws an ice blast that leaves the victim frozen. As the wake of the ice projectile forms icicles, eventually they catch up to the direct impact, and the ice formation stabs the frozen character shattering them. The ice melts an leaves behind the victim laying on the ground.
